Manage a live form
See how a form is performing, control what it emails, and block the traffic you do not want.
Selecting a form from Fundraising > Forms opens its hub: results, the gifts it brought in, and its settings. Edit form opens the builder from here.
Overview
How the form is doing: Total raised, Gifts, Average gift, what share is Recurring, and Supporters, with a last-30-days trend.
There's also a live map of people on the form right now. It shows country and how recently, never who, which is enough to watch an appeal land without watching individuals.
Sessions, Donations and Supporters
- Sessions shows visits to the form, including the ones that didn't finish. Worth reading after a launch: lots of sessions and few gifts points at the form, while few sessions points at your promotion.
- Donations lists the gifts this form produced.
- Supporters lists the people who gave through it.
Notifications
Every message this form can send when something happens.
Turning a message on or off is an organization-wide decision, made once for all your forms. What you can do here is give this form its own version of a message, which runs instead of the organization's.
Worth doing for a memorial fund or a specific appeal, where the standard thank-you would read oddly. Leave the rest inheriting, so a wording change lands everywhere at once.
Restrictions
Rules that decide who may use this form. Each rule allows or denies traffic by:
| Rule | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Country | Restricting an appeal to where you operate |
| IP address or range | Blocking a specific source of abuse |
| Network | Blocking a whole network that's causing trouble |
| Referrer domain | Only accepting traffic from your own site |
| Embed domain | Controlling which sites may embed the form |
| Device type | Desktop, mobile or tablet |
| User agent | Blocking a specific automated tool |
Rules can be archived when you no longer need them, so a rule added during an incident doesn't quietly outlive it.
Restrictions are a blunt instrument: a country block stops legitimate donors travelling or living abroad. Reach for them when you have a problem, not as routine setup, and keep the captcha on under Behavior instead.
Audit log
Who changed this form and when. The first place to look when a form behaves differently and nobody remembers touching it.
